Heya, Britney Spears. Where you headed there? To Prom? I only ask because my snarky self had a prom dress freakily similar to this back in the day, except mine was the proper length (as in, short), not this tea-length nightmare. Gah!
Unfortunately, Brit, my shreddings do not end there. The bag: does not match. Even remotely. The hair: stringy and in need of a good wash (or re-weave, whatever the case may be). And do my eyes deceive me, or is that a watch tan line on your left arm? Oy, girlie.
You know, Britney, the majority of us are thrilled that you’re getting your life back together. But, there is something to be said for getting your wardrobe back together, too. Give it a try. You might likey. Heavens knows we all would, right dahlings?

It’s Theme Day across the b5media Beauty & Style Channel, and this month is all about Skin Cancer Awareness. Not a fun thing to talk about, but one that is vitally important, for sure.
Two fabulous celebs, Kristen Bell (of Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Marcia Cross (of Desperate Housewives, duh) are two pretty ladies who have sworn to shun the sun and get their glow elsewhere (or not at all).
Ms. Bell signed on to the Glow in the Dark campaign, sponsored by Jergens.com. Jergens will donate $1 for every similar pledge made by the public toward The Skin Cancer Foundation. Jergens, of course, is quite well-known for their Natural Glow self-tanning products.
And the gorgeously porcelain Ms. Cross is embarking on her second year as the spokeswoman for the Olay and ASDS-sponsored program which offers free skin-cancer screenings during May, June and July. For more info on these screenings, which are held at participating dermatologist offices, visit skincancertakesfriends.org.
Now, I’m admittedly a sun-worshipper, my dahlings, but through the years I have begun to add more and more sun protection to my summer beauty routine. It’s quite scary how skin cancer can affect the palest of pale and the tannest of tan. It’s not choosy. So you need to be. Make one of these fabulous celebs your sun-care role model and consider taking part in one of these programs today.
Oh, and spread the word…and the sunscreen.

Happy Monday, dahlings!
Well, a little bit of laughter to brighten the start of your week courtesy of Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, seen here attending a wedding over the weekend. Good stuff, eh?
I didn’t know this, but evidently horrific fashion and ridiculous headpieces are staples in the royal wedding attire repertoire. Isn’t that something? Now, what I would die to know is: do these chicks think they look hot? Would some dude at that same wedding be just so completely bitch-slapped by the beauty of these headpieces and dowdy dresses that he would just have to get the girl’s number? This would all be interesting to know, eh? Maybe I need to get my snarky self invited to a royal wedding someday to see how it all works. Hmmm…
Now, no one could dispute the intricacies of Beatrice’s butterfly disaster. It’s whacked-out for sure, but kind of cool in its own right. (Though I would surely contest that it belongs on a human head.)
Eugenie, on the other hand, is not only sporting a wiggy head-topper too, but hers totally looks like the napkin origami you’d find on a cruise ship, no? Seriously, now. If you’re going to wear something freaky on your melon, at least make it a cool freaky, yanno?
So anyhoo, loves, hope these royal messes help make your day a good one. Always good to have a hearty guffaw at someone else’s expense, no? Sure it is.

New Kids on the Block at Z100’s Zootopia
Happy Weekend, dahlings!
This lovely photo is just a reminder that time can be very friendly to many manfolk and that stylists really can be fashion heroes.
Check out my boyz - the return of New Kids on the Block has set my snarky heart aflame, for sure. This is a reunion I’ve been waiting for for, uh, the last fifteen years or so. And no, I’m not ashamed to admit it. So there.
What I wasn’t expecting was how fly these fellas still look - better than evah, I’d say. They’ve aged well, no? And they sounded good to, which is a damn good thing since my junior snarklet was almost late to preschool on Friday so Mama Snarkstress could watch ‘em on the Today Show. *innocent whistle*
Anyhoo, fab that they’re once again out and about in concert (here at the IZOD Center in New Jersey, collaborating with Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers at Z100’s Zootopia. This, btw, was last night which just happened to be sexy boyfriend Jordan’s 38th birthday).
So whaddya think, dahlings? Are you happy to see the New Kids back in action, or should they have just left the past in the past? And just as important, how do you think they’re lookin’ these days? Weigh in. I’d love to hear your captivating thoughts…

Brangelina at Cannes
So twinkies, eh? That’s the word, thanks to Jack Black’s big, fat mouth. Of course, we’ve all been speculating on Angelina Jolie’s baby bundle for months, and twins seemed to be the verdict. No we know for sure. I can sleep better now, thank gawd.
So while that’s lovely and what not, what’s really important here is Angie’s dress. Yanno, this is the second time I’ve fallen for her wearing this shade of green, and we all know that The Snarkstress falling for Angelina under any circumstances is a remarkably rare event. But here, there’s no denying this is a fab color for this chick.
And, ahem, one more lapse from my normal Angelina-bashing: I dig the fact that Ang is sticking to tent-like dresses instead of the skin-tight bump-baring frocks that a lot of Mamas-to-Be try to rock. While sporting a watermelon is scorching hot in H-wood right now, there is something to be said for keeping the miracle of baby-growing a humble affair. AJ seems to be doing this, and for that, I must give props.
Of course, she gets props for her arm candy as well, but that all goes without saying.
Anyhoo, don’t get used to this Angelina-loving, dahlings. It was just one of those things I’ll probably regret in the morning, yanno?
Sigh. Time for a drink. Happy Hour a little early, loves? See you there.

American Idol is nearing the end. Things are culminating into one giant battle of the Davids. Oh…and Paula Abdul showing her love of purple. Hm.
I am so, so mixed on this, dahlings. First off, a billion props to Paula for rocking out this light and misty purple. Pretty much the only purple on red (or in this case, blue) carpets these days is more jewel-toned, so it’s refreshing to see this sexy pastel-y shade on Paula.
I’ll also give my stamp of approval for the cut of this dress. Now, being a small person, I can attest to the fact that it’s often a struggle for petite chicks to find the right style and cut that won’t make their stems look like hamhocks or their torso seem minuscule. P’s done a great job on this, so hoorah for that.
However…
WTF is up with the black? Come on! You’re going to be all brave and wear this super light amethyst color and then go and put a black cummerbund and rounded-off black shoes with this? Geezus. And don’t even get me started on that whatever the hell that is on her arm.
Dammit, Paula. So. Freaking. Close. But, So. Freaking. Far. Away.
Now, if I had some scissors handy and could brazenly attack her from behind, the black would disappear and be replaced with a fabulous, shiny silver. Silver sandals, delicate silver bracelets, a funky silver ring. Not *bleep*ing black. Oy.
Anyhoo, loves, what do you think about Miss American Idol’s look? You likey just as is, or do you agree with Mama Snarkstress? Weigh in below, and Happy Friday!

She’s back, dahlings. Miley Cyrus is seen here taking a break from the taping of the Hannah Montana movie, and lookey there - she has clothes on!
Okay, cheap shot, but let’s just say that it’s good to see her looking youthful and non-jailbait-ish again, yanno?
I totally love this dress - think it would be most fabby for the Prom set. The flip flops and green tank underneath, not so much, but I’m thinking this might just be a wardrobe rehearsal (Gawd, let’s hope.)
So whaddya think, dahlings? You love the cutting-edge, half-nekked Miley? Or the sweet, innocent frou frou Miley? Weigh in below…

Wow, dahlings. What a stunner, that Teri Hatcher, eh?
Check her out here, visiting the Late Show. I can’t get over how perfectly she has done this red dress. So many almost-there fashionistas severly underestimate the power of a nude peep-toe and this is one occasion where something like that is in perfect order. Teri certainly could have used the traditional red or black pumps, even a strappy silver sandal. But she chose nude instead and rocked the hell out of this entire ensemble.
Her hair is fantastic, her skin glowing. (Her ass is a little skinny, but what else is new in Hollywood?) The dress fits crazy-good and is the perfect length. I am dying here, she is so fab.
Take that, Eva!
What do you think, loves? Did Teri bring it last night or what? Discuss…
